I love the frivolity of beauty. It is wholly unnecessary for an item to function. In fact, a beautiful item with function tends to be seen as less valuable: viewed for its use rather than its status as art.

Yet beauty is all around us. Have you looked in the mirror lately?  Peonies and roses do not need to have seemingly infinite layers of petals to attract pollinators.  Train stations do not need grandeur and intricacies to hold a crowd. You and I don't need to be beautiful to go about our human tasks. But here we are.

Feminine functional ware takes practicality, the easily ignored, mundane aspect of function, and enchants it with the infinite, unyielding value of beauty.
